Shavkat Mirziyoyev ceremonially welcomed in Tbilisi

Today, July 2, a solemn ceremony was held at the Orbeliani Palace, the residence of the President of Georgia in Tbilisi, to officially welcome President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The press service of the Uzbek leader reported this.

It was noted that the head of state was warmly welcomed by Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili.

The national flags of the two countries were raised in the square in front of the residence in honor of the distinguished guest, and a guard of honor was lined up.

The national anthems were performed. The leaders passed in front of the guard of honor to the sounds of a military orchestra and greeted the members of the official delegations.

They also posed for a joint photo. High-level talks are currently underway.
