7619The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Hungary on 3-4 October at the invitation of the Hungarian side. This was reported by the President’s press service.
It is noted that within the framework of the visit, high-level negotiations will be held with Hungarian President Katalina Novak and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest.
According to information, the agenda of the Uzbekistan-Hungary summit includes first of all, the further development of strategic partnership relations, the issues of expanding multilateral cooperation in the trade-economic, investment, agricultural, financial and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Also, special attention will be paid to the implementation of joint projects and programs aimed at increasing mutual trade, deepening industrial cooperation in pharmaceuticals, agro-industrial complex, mechanical engineering, water conservation and other areas.
“There will be an exchange of views on international and regional political issues, including cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkish States. At the end of the negotiations, it is planned to sign a joint statement and a significant set of bilateral documents.
In addition, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to hold a meeting with the heads of leading Hungarian companies and banks.
