Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Azerbaijan with his wife

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by his wife Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, arrived in Azerbaijan on a state visit. “Azertag” reported about it.
It was reported that the dignitaries were welcomed by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Elnur Mammadov and other officials.
At first, Mirziyoyev and his wife visited Shahidlar Avenue. He also laid flowers at the base of the “Mangu Alanga” monument.
The President of Uzbekistan enjoyed the panoramic view of Baku while getting acquainted with the history of “Shahidlar” avenue and improvement works in the capital of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that within the framework of the visit, the head of Uzbekistan will meet with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilhom Aliyev. After that, the heads of state will discuss issues of deepening bilateral relations.
In addition, the leaders of the two countries are scheduled to visit the cities of Fuzuli and Shusha.
