The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will be in this country on a state visit on August 22-23 at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilhom Aliyev. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of Uzbekistan.
The program of the visit includes high-level talks and other events with the participation of the leaders of the two countries.
Issues of further strengthening Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan strategic partnership relations and expansion of practical cooperation in priority directions are on the agenda.
Bilateral agreements are planned to be adopted at the end of the negotiations.
We remind that on June 21-22, 2022, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilhom Aliyev came to Uzbekistan on a state visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
