From August 7 to August 9, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will undertake a state visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This information has been confirmed by the President's press service.
It has been reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the upcoming consultative meeting of Central Asian leaders and the inaugural summit of the "Central Asia + Japan" dialogue, which will be held in Astana.
It is worth noting that Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is also expected to visit Uzbekistan. Additionally, on August 5, the presidential assistant Saida Mirziyoyeva attended a reception hosted by President Kassym-Jomart Tokaev of Kazakhstan.
