Shavkat Mirziyoyev Receives Delegation Headed by Erdogan

Today, on September 8th, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received a delegation led by the Chairman of the World Ethnosports Confederation, Najmuddin Bilal Erdoğan. This information was reported by the press service of the head of state.

During the meeting, discussions centered around the further development and promotion of national sports and traditional folk games. At the outset of the meeting, Bilal Erdoğan conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the leader of Uzbekistan.

Sincere gratitude was expressed for the support and high-level organization of the International Ethnosports Festival, which was held for the first time in the city of Khiva, with the participation of nearly 2,000 athletes from over 60 countries.

The conversation also touched upon the development of educational programs based on a joint 'road map,' the exchange of experiences, training for specialists, coaches, and referees, as well as expanding cooperation to involve young people in ethnic sports.
