Shavkat Mirziyoyev participates in BRICS summit

5681President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will visit Kazan on October 23-24 to attend the BRICS summit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the President's press service.
During the summit, Mirziyoyev will deliver a speech at the plenary session, which will be held in the BRICS Plus format and chaired by Russia.
The summit's agenda includes discussions on expanding international cooperation to ensure inclusive and sustainable development and key global political issues.
Additionally, Mirziyoyev's visit will feature several bilateral meetings.
For reference, BRICS was founded in 2006, and its current members include Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Egypt, and Ethiopia.
