Potential championship fight for Shahram Giyosov in Uzbekistan

There is a strong possibility that the championship fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) belt between Uzbek professional boxer Shahram Giyosov and Lithuanian Eymantas Stanionis could take place in Uzbekistan according to the press service of the Professional Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan.
Negotiations have reportedly begun between the promoters to secure the hosting of this WBA championship bout in Uzbekistan.
Additionally, it has been announced that promotional sales for the Giyosov-Stanionis fight are set to take place on November 8.
Should the parties fail to reach an agreement by that date, an open auction will be initiated for the promoters.
