Shakhram Giyasov to fight for two titles

6432Uzbek professional boxer Shakhram Giyasov is set to challenge the winner of the upcoming bout between WBA welterweight champion Eimantas Stanionis and IBF champion Jaron Ennis. The fight between Stanionis and Ennis is scheduled for April 12 in Atlantic City, according to "The Ring".
The World Boxing Association (WBA) has approved the fight between the two champions, stating:
“WBA welterweight champion Eimantas Stanionis has been granted consent to fight IBF champion Jaron Ennis on April 12. The WBA has informed mandatory challenger Shakhram Giyasov of the decision, and he has agreed to the terms.”
As per the WBA's regulations, the winner of the Stanionis-Ennis match must face Giyasov within 120 days of their fight.
Additionally, Giyasov is set to participate in a fight on the same night as the Stanionis-Ennis bout, keeping him active ahead of his highly anticipated title challenge for the WBA and IBF belts.
This development marks a major step in Giyasov’s career as he aims to cement his place among boxing's elite by securing two world titles.
