The Senate approves the candidacy of Surayyo Rahmanova to Ombudsman

Today, on October 28th, the forty-sixth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis was held. It confirmed the candidacy of Surayyo Makhmudovna Rahmanova for the position of Children's Rights Representative (Ombudsman) of the Oliy Majlis. This was reported by the press service of the Senate.
For your information, Surayyo Rahmanova is a 1st-level judicial consultant, a doctor of legal sciences, and a professor. Until that time, she worked in legal higher education organizations and within the court and prosecutor's office system.
Before her, Aliya Yunusova Tuygunovna held the position of Child Rights Ombudsman and completed her term last month.
