On September 30, a fire was reported in the Tashkent State Agrarian University territory. The Ministry of Agriculture has also responded to the situation.
According to the report, the Tashkent State Agrarian University covers an area of 28 hectares, with several organizations, agencies, and private higher education institutions operating within its grounds, including the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change. The Forestry Agency building is also located within part of the university.
"The fire, which is said to have occurred in one of the university's buildings, actually took place on the roof of the building where the Forestry Agency is located," the report stated.
The fire was discovered around 8:10 p.m., and firefighting efforts fully contained it by 9:36 p.m. Operations are still ongoing to ensure complete safety.
"The situation is under full control. There is no information regarding injuries or fatalities resulting from the fire. Additional details on the incident will be provided," the statement added.
