Criminal case initiated following the fire at Tashkent State Agrarian University

On September 30, a criminal case was initiated in connection with the fire that occurred at the Tashkent State Agrarian University, located in the Qibray district of the Tashkent region. Bobur Tolaganov, the press secretary of the Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, provided this information.
As previously reported, at 8:10 p.m., authorities were notified about the fire on the university premises.
Fire and rescue crews promptly arrived at the scene at 8:17 p.m., successfully surrounding the fire by 9:36 p.m., and fully extinguishing it by 10:10 p.m.
No injuries or casualties were reported as a result of the incident.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 259, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which pertains to violations of fire safety regulations. Investigations are currently underway.
