7019The Iranian club "Persepolis" has shown interest in former Uzbekistan national team player Sardor Rashidov, as reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.
The 33-year-old Rashidov, who played for Namangan club "Navbahor" last season, has attracted attention from "Persepolis." Reports circulating among fans of the Persian team suggest that the Uzbek player could potentially join the Tehran-based club.
Notably, another Uzbek player, Oston Urunov, is currently part of the "Persepolis" squad. Urunov's presence at the club may play a significant role in facilitating Rashidov's transfer.
For reference, Sardor Rashidov has had an extensive international career, having played in leagues in Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, and Portugal. If Rashidov completes the move to "Persepolis," the Iranian league will mark the fifth foreign championship in his career.
