A fire erupted at a commercial location in Samarkand

Reports of a fire at a wheat storage facility in the Bulungur district of the Samarkand region circulated on social media. The Regional Emergency Management Department provided updates on the situation.

It's been clarified that the fire did not occur at the warehouse owned by JSC "Jomboy don".

On April 24, at approximately 02:23 a.m., authorities in the Department of Emergency Situations of the district were alerted to a fire at an unused commercial building owned by O.A., a resident of Ulugbek'' neighborhood, in the Bulungur district.

Consequently, two firefighting teams were dispatched, arriving at the scene by 02:42 and successfully extinguishing the flames by 03:56.

The fire caused damage to the interior of the building and a Damas vehicle parked in front, totaling an area of 50 m²

Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities as a result of the incident. An investigation is currently underway.
