A video showing a fight between girls has been circulating on social media, reportedly capturing an incident that took place on April 29 at School No. 83 in the Pastdargom district of the Samarkand region. Some reports claimed that the school principal handed the students over to the aggressors who came to pick them up. The Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs has issued an official statement regarding the case.

According to the statement, on April 29, near the highway passing through Kushkuduk mahalla in Pastdargom district and on the grounds of School No. 83, a citizen identified as E.B., born in 2007 and residing in Samarkand, deliberately violated social conduct rules by inflicting bodily harm on several 11th-grade students of the school.

A criminal case has been initiated against 18-year-old E.B. under Part 3 of Article 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. The preliminary investigation is currently ongoing.

At this time, it has not been confirmed whether the school principal actually handed the female students over to the aggressors.

It should be recalled that on April 9, a similar incident occurred at School No. 213 in the Mirabad district of Tashkent, where the school principal, a teacher, and a student's mother were held administratively liable and fined for a school fight, while the student’s father was sentenced to 10 days in prison.
