In Samarkand city, Samarkand region, videos circulating on social media showed a truck colliding with several cars moving in the same direction. The Regional Traffic Safety Department provided information about the traffic accident.
It was reported that the accident occurred on October 1 at 18:15 on the 42nd kilometer of the M-37A highway, which passes through Samarkand. The accident was caused by a brake failure while the truck was in motion, leading it to crash into seven light vehicles moving in the same direction.
Fortunately, no one was injured or killed in the incident. A preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Internal Affairs Department's Traffic Safety Division for the city of Samarkand.
As a reminder, earlier in the Kashkadarya region, a "KamAZ" trailer detached while driving and collided with three vehicles. In that incident, the driver of a Labo vehicle was injured and admitted to the district hospital.
