4-year-old girl died in an accident in Samarkand

A 4-year-old girl died as a result of a traffic accident involving a "Jiguli" and a "Spark" in the Samarkand region. This was reported by the Regional Traffic Safety Department.

The incident occurred on the M39 highway, near the Kushtamgali neighborhood of Samarkand district. The driver of the "VAZ-2107" attempted to turn from a location where turning was prohibited. At that moment, a "Spark" entered the path of the car and collided with it. As a result, the daughter of the "Jiguli" driver, born in 2020, was taken to the hospital with injuries but later died.

"I made a mistake by turning onto the road without paying attention to the traffic signs. I regret my actions and will not repeat them," said the girl's father.

Earlier, a traffic accident involving three cars and a bus occurred in the Pakhtachi district of Samarkand region. The driver of an interstate Cobalt lost control, hitting a Tracker traveling in the same direction, which then rolled over. As a result, a Nexia-3, coming from the opposite direction, collided with the front of the bus. The passenger of the Cobalt died at the scene, and the driver died later at the hospital.
