20091A man who filmed himself bathing in a pothole in the Samarkand region and posted the video on social media has been sentenced to 10 days in administrative detention, the regional Road Safety Department reported.
In the video, the man claimed he was in Urgut, Samarkand region, and sarcastically compared the potholes on the roads to “swimming pools.”
“The car hit a pothole, and the tire was torn. You can even bathe in it. I'll bathe now,” he said before stepping into the water-filled pothole.
Following a court hearing, the blogger was sentenced to 10 days in administrative detention under the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
According to QALAMPIR.UZ, the pothole in Urgut has since been patched.
It is worth noting that earlier, educators from the "Lollipop" preschool in Tashkent’s Almazar district took it upon themselves to fill potholes on Kambarniso Street.
