In Samarkand, the head of the district emergency department was caught with a bribe

The head of the emergency department of one of the districts of Samarkand region was arrested while accepting a bribe of 1000 dollars.

It was reported that the head of the Emergency Situations Department demanded $2,000 from a local citizen in exchange for helping him get hired in the department he heads.

At the event held by the State Security Service and law enforcement officers, this official was caught with physical evidence while receiving $1,000 of the requested money.

In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated against this person under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28,211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.
