School secretary beats student in Samarkand (video)

Reports circulated today, October 10, on social media claiming that a school secretary at school no. 71 in the Koshrabot district of the Samarkand region physically assaulted a primary school student. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education has commented on the incident.
According to the statement, a special working group from the regional education department has been formed to investigate the situation. In addition, the district police department has launched a pre-investigation inquiry into the case.
’’A detailed report will be provided following the results of the investigation,’’ the statement said.
It is worth noting that earlier, a teacher at a school in Samarkand was dismissed for hitting a student during class for arriving late and disrupting the lesson.
