Gentra collides with Cobalt, strikes two pedestrians in Samarkand  

A Gentra vehicle struck two pedestrians in the Samarkand region, according to the Road Safety Service of the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The incident occurred on February 17, at approximately 14:10, on Nurpoya Street, which passes through the “Bukhoriy” mahalla of the region. The Gentra collided with a Cobalt, hitting two pedestrians who were standing on the right side of the road.

As a result of the accident, both pedestrians sustained injuries and were urgently transported to the hospital. The Samarkand Traffic Safety Department is currently investigating the incident to determine the full details.

“We urge all drivers to observe speed limits, exercise caution on the road, and strictly follow traffic signals. Remember, road safety is the responsibility of every traffic participant!” the report emphasizes.

It should be noted that earlier, a schoolboy in the Jamboy district of the Samarkand region lost control of his Lacetti car and crashed into a tree, resulting in his death.
