According to the General Prosecutor's Office Department, scammers were detained in Samarkand for deceiving a citizen with promises of employment in Israel for $18,000.
During a rapid operation conducted by the Department and local authorities, U.R., Z.M., and A.S. were apprehended for allegedly swindling H.Sh by falsely offering him employment in Israel for $18,000, of which they received $2,000.
An investigation led by the Shahrisabz city department revealed that A.K. illicitly obtained $35,000 by falsely promising to send four citizens to work in Nicaragua via Turkey.
Criminal cases under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code have been initiated, and investigations are ongoing, according to the report.
