24176It was discovered that a swimming pool had been constructed on the 10th-floor penthouse of an apartment building in Samarkand. This was reported by the Regional Control Inspection for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Samarkand Region.
The inspection noted that, based on complaints, during raids conducted by the control inspection, it was found that a swimming pool had been arbitrarily built in the 10th-floor penthouse of apartment building No. 67-A in the "Sugdiyona" neighborhood of Samarkand City.
"The pool is not part of the building's project. During a seismic event, it could increase the building's vibration and compromise its seismic integrity," the report stated.
According to Article 159 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan, inspectors have primarily imposed administrative fines and issued mandatory instructions to the owner for violating rules related to the maintenance and use of residential properties, technical regulations for housing, and management of multi-apartment buildings.
It was explained that if the owner fails to voluntarily rectify the situation and restore the property to its original condition within the time specified in the mandatory instruction, relevant documents will be gathered, and a lawsuit will be filed with the civil court to enforce compulsory removal.
