A terrible traffic accident occurred in Samarkand and as a result, one person was killed. This was reported in the “Zamon” informational program.
The accident happened on 18 December this year in the Urgut district of Samarkand region.
A Damas car, which was moving at a high speed, did not stop at the red light and hit a Lada car. The force of impact resulted in the driver of the Lada being thrown out.
The driver of the Lada and 2 passengers of the Damas car were admitted to the district hospital. However, the driver of the Lada died as a result of the severe injuries from which he suffered.
Currently, a criminal case has been instituted under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code, and investigations are underway.
