A lawyer was caught with a bribe of 10,000 dollars in Samarkand

It was found that a 66-year-old lawyer promised to release a citizen from prison and took a bribe of 10,000 dollars in the Toyloq district of the Samarkand region. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this.
A lawyer from "Samarkand Lawmakers", I.Q. the citizen received 200 US dollars and 500 thousand soms from ID.
In addition, the lawyer promised citizen A.N. to release his son, N.I., from prison, fraudulently taking money in the amount of 10,000 US dollars and using it for his own needs.
On 14 March this year, the regional prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case against lawyer I.Q. under Article 168, Part 3, Paragraphs "b", and "v" of the Criminal Code.
It should be recalled that earlier in Syrdarya, a lawyer who had been previously convicted was also caught with a bribe.
