Pakistan appointed a new ambassador to Uzbekistan

Yesterday, March 13, (Acting) Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Ahmed Farooq, who was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that during the meeting, Bakhtiyor Saidov received a copy of the credentials from the Pakistani ambassador Ahmed Farooq.

Also, during the conversation, proposals for further development of political dialogue, trade-economic and transport-communication relations, and interregional and cultural-humanitarian exchanges between Uzbekistan and Pakistan were considered. The schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming events were discussed in bilateral and multilateral forms.
