Saida Mirziyoyeva meets with UNESCO Director-General

On June 30, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva met with UNESCO Director-General Khaled al-Anani. Saida Mirziyoyeva announced this on her Telegram channel.

According to her, the meeting discussed the practical implementation of agreements reached during the 43rd session of the General Conference held in Samarkand.

“We paid special attention to issues related to the development of human capital, artificial intelligence and creative industries, support for women’s leadership, and the preservation of cultural heritage,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.

According to the Head of the Presidential Administration, every meeting at UNESCO headquarters opens up new opportunities to further deepen strategic cooperation.

It is worth noting that the 43rd session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was held in Samarkand from October 30 to November 13, 2025.
