Mashrabjon Ruziboev, who officially joined the UFC three days ago, had his debut fight against Jared Gordon canceled from the tournament card on the morning of February 16. This was confirmed by the promotion's press service.

According to the report, Mashrabjon Ruziboev, who accepted the fight just four days before the scheduled clash, was informed that he would not be allowed to enter the octagon due to his failure to meet the required weight standard.

For context, Mashrabjon Ruziboev is the younger brother of Nursultan Ruziboyev, another prominent Uzbek UFC fighter. In his professional career, the 28-year-old Mashrabjon has participated in 25 fights, securing 20 wins, and 4 losses, and one fight was previously canceled.

It should be noted that just yesterday, February 14, the next fight and date for Mashrabjon's brother, Nursultan Ruziboev, were officially announced.
