Students studying in some regions of Russia were allowed to transfer their studies to Uzbekistan

As an exception, it was permitted to transfer the studies of Uzbek citizens studying in Higher Education Institutions in Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Rostov, and Krasnodar regions of the Russian Federation to the state HEIs in Uzbekistan.  This was reported by the State Test Center.

It is noted that, according to their applications, students' studies will be transferred to a suitable and similar (if not compatible and similar in content) educational direction of the HEI located in the area of permanent residence.

As it turns out, applications for transfer of studies from 1 November to 20 November of this year (also on this day) are sent to the State Test Center's my.dtm.uz is accepted through the website (section "Transferring studies from the Russian Federation").

Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will check whether students have studied at a particular HEI from 25 November to 15 December.

The decision to allow students to transfer their studies is made by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, regardless of the departmental subordination of the higher education institutions of the republic;

According to the State Test Center, if it is not established that citizens are studying at a specific higher education institution in the Russian Federation, their studies will not be transferred.

Students whose studies have been transferred are exceptionally allowed to continue their studies in the corresponding course.  The difference in subjects determined in this will be submitted free of charge during the 2022-2023 academic year.
