The agency for Foreign Labor Migration asks Uzbekistan nationals in Russia not to work in informal courier services.

Recently, the agency noted that among Uzbeks working in the Russian Federation, there are problems associated with announcements about the delivery of products from one address to another for a large amount of money via the internet.

The unofficial courier services reportedly offered to deliver orders containing drugs or illicit substances (bookmarks), resulting in the detention of couriers by police officers and criminal prosecution.

“In this regard, we ask our compatriots not to work in unofficial courier services, do not deliver suspicious objects from one address to another for a large amount of money, as well as be sure to check the goods”, - the agency said.

It should be recalled that under the legislation of the Russian Federation, the delivery or sale of narcotic drugs is punishable by long-term imprisonment.
