Clash between Uzbek and Chinese workers reported in Krasnoyarsk (video)

11334On May 19, a fight broke out between construction workers in the Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, the local police service reported.
According to the Telegram channel “112 Krasnoyarsk,” the conflict involved Chinese and Uzbek citizens employed by the Chinese construction company CRCC Rus (China Railway Construction Corporation Limited).
Officials confirmed that at least four people were injured during the clash and sought medical attention. Police detained 25 individuals involved in the incident.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 115 of the Russian Criminal Code, which covers infliction of minor bodily harm. The investigation is ongoing.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the exact cause of the conflict. Preliminary reports suggest the disagreement stemmed from domestic issues. The construction company has not commented on the incident or confirmed the whereabouts of those involved.
It is worth recalling that earlier, a similar fight occurred between North Korean and Uzbek workers at a construction site in Arsenyev, Primorsky Krai, Russia.
