Ravshan Mamatov dismissed from position

By a decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ravshan Mamajonovich Mamatov has been dismissed from his post as Director of the Agency for Control of Narcotics and Firearms under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The information was reported by the Presidential Press Service.
For reference, Ravshan Mamatov had been serving in this position since August 2024.
It is worth noting that on January 27, during a videoconference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Security Directorate under the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, Mamatov was warned that his suitability for the position would be reviewed if no changes were observed in his performance.
