Officially: Educational processes are being restored in Andijan from tomorrow

Educational processes will begin tomorrow 11 January, in educational institutions of Andijan region.  This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

The press service of the Andijan regional administration gave the following information about the news spread on social networks under the heading “It is said that studies will begin tomorrow, 11 January in all schools and both higher and secondary special education centers in Andijan.”

We announce that educational processes will officially begin on 11 January in educational institutions of Andijan region,” the message read.

It is noted that the future activities of educational institutions will be organized based on weather conditions.

It should be recalled that earlier, based on the minutes of the relevant meeting of the government of the Ministry of School and Pre-school Education, the winter vacation days of general and specialized school students will continue until 17 January 2023, this is due to a sharp drop in the weather temperature.

Also, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation announced that the winter vacation period for students of higher and professional educational institutions and academic lyceums has been extended until 18 January 2023.

For information, tomorrow the 11 January, the weather will change in Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions, there will also be snow and fog in some places.  The west wind will change its direction and blow from the northeast at a speed of 7-12 m/s, in some places it may increase to 17-22 m/s, and in some places of Fergana region it may increase to 23-25 m/s .  The temperature will be 5-10° cold at night, 1-6° cold during the day.
