Rano Jorayeva resigned from the leadership of “Uzbekistan Airports”

According to the relevant decision of the general meeting of the shareholders of “Uzbekistan Airports” company, the employment contract concluded with Rana Frunzeyevna Jorayeva was canceled.  This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan today, August 7.

 “During the two-and-a-half years of leadership, Rano Jorayeva managed to implement major changes in the company.  In particular, efforts to develop airport infrastructure, improve the company’s management system, and improve its financial and economic indicators have yielded positive results,” the ministry said.

Also, at the meeting, Javlonbek Oybekovich Umarkhojayev was appointed acting chairman of the board of the joint-stock company “Uzbekistan Airports” instead of Jorayeva.

For information, in February 2021, Rano Jorayeva, who returned to Uzbekistan after a long career in Russia, was appointed as the head of Uzbekistan Airports.  At that time, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov personally introduced the new head of “Uzbekistan Airports”.
