Putin congratulates Mirziyoyev on Navruz

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent his congratulations to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the Navruz holiday. This was reported by the presidential press service.
“Dear Shavkat Miromonovich, please accept my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the spring holiday of Navruz,” the congratulatory message reads.
The message further notes that Russian-Uzbek relations are developing successfully in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
“I am confident that through our joint efforts, we will continue to actively develop mutually beneficial bilateral relations for the benefit of our friendly peoples, strengthening security and stability in Central Asia. On this auspicious occasion, I sincerely wish you, dear Shavkat Miromonovich, good health and success, and all citizens of Uzbekistan happiness and prosperity,” Putin said.
It is worth recalling that earlier, on March 18, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev; Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon; and Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov. On March 19, he spoke with the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The leaders exchanged heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of Navruz, wishing one another good health, prosperity, and success, along with peace, tranquility, and well-being for their peoples.
