Putin did not congratulate Mirziyoyev and others on Navruz

18319The Presidents of many major countries of the world sent, and continue to send congratulatory letters to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the Navruz holiday. However, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, was not among the heads of state who sent congratulations this year.
The fact is that on 21 March 2022, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, sincerely congratulating him and the multi-ethnic people of Uzbekistan on the spring and renewal holiday – Navruz, and wished prosperity and luck. This year however, Putin did not continue this tradition.
Putin not only failed to congratulate Mirziyoyev, but also the heads of any country on Navruz.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev, recieved congratulations from: The President of the USA Joseph Biden, the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Governor of the Emirate Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Turkey Rajab Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi, President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov, President of Tajikistan Imamali Rahmonov. Congratulatory letters were received from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Azerbaijan Ilhom Aliyev, President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, President of the Republic of Iraq Abdullatif Rashid, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanichbek Omuraliyev, Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Khusrav Noziri, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, and Sheikhul Islam Allahshukur Poshshozada.
