The President familiarizes himself with the new substation constructed in Shaikhontohur

Today, October 14, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is getting acquainted with new infrastructure facilities in Tashkent and preparations for the autumn-winter season. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

In recent years, the capital has been growing both in terms of population and territory. The capacity of engineering networks is being increased accordingly.

In particular, a new substation was built in the Shaikhontohur district, near the "Pakhtakor" stadium. Within the framework of the project, more than 19 kilometers of cables were laid from the "Traktorsoz" substation, and 2 transformers were installed. It will be launched next month. As a result, 130 megawatts of additional electricity will be guaranteed in the center of the capital. The load on other substations in the city is reduced, and the probability of accidents is reduced by 60 percent.

Here, the head of state got acquainted with a presentation on the construction and modernization of the electricity supply system of Tashkent city.

It was noted that five more substations are under construction, and four are being renovated, which will create a total of 850 megawatts of additional power.
