Heads of two ministries and two committees receive a strong warning from the President.  

Today 19 September, the Minister of Tourism Aziz Abdukhakimov, Minister of Finance Timur Ishmetov, Chairman of the Tax Committee Sherzod Kudbiyev and Chairman of the Customs Committee Akmalkhoja Mavlanov received a strict warning, at a meeting on the development of tourism chaired by the president.

At the meeting, despite the signing of a decision to introduce «Duty free» and «tax free» systems, criticism was made regarding the lack of urgency to implement the system which has already been agreed upon for 3 years.

The Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Finance, the Chairman of the Tax Committee and the Chairman of Customs Committee were given a strong warning.  It was noted that the system should be fully operational as of 1 January 2023.
