President to visit Tajikistan to resolve border issues

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to the city of Khujand on March 31 at the invitation of President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, according to the press service of the Uzbek president.
As part of the visit, a joint meeting of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as bilateral negotiations, are scheduled to take place in Khujand.
At the conclusion of the event, an agreement will be signed on the point of contact of the state borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The heads of state will also attend a joint concert featuring artists from the three countries.
This will be the first trilateral summit between Mirziyoyev, Rahmon, and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, marking an important step in strengthening regional cooperation.
