According to the report, officers from the Yangiariq district department and the Internal Affairs Department conducted a joint operation, during which citizen D.M. was caught red-handed. He had gained the trust of citizen D.I. and promised to amend an academic leave record issued by Urgench State University and provide a diploma in exchange for $900 and 1.3 million UZS through his associate M.Ya.
Further pre-investigation checks revealed that D.M. had also deceived citizens B.O. and A.B. by falsely claiming he could transfer their studies from a university in Kazakhstan to an international university in Kyrgyzstan. He prepared fake diplomas stating they had graduated from the institution and collected a total of $4,800 from them.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (Fraud), Article 28 combined with Article 211 (Bribery), and Article 228 (Forgery or Use of Forged Documents, Stamps, Seals, or Forms) of the Criminal Code. Investigation activities are currently underway.
