In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, an individual has been accused of killing a guest, then cooking and feeding parts of the victim's body to his cat. This information was reported by Aziz Obidov, the press secretary of the Supreme Court.
According to reports, the incident occurred after the host and guest had been drinking. A conflict ensued, during which the host took the guest to the yard, knocked him to the ground, and threatened him with a knife. The host then proceeded to mutilate the victim, removing his genitals and a portion of skin, which were then cooked and served to the cat. The remainder of the body was disposed of in garbage and incinerated.
The case was adjudicated in the Beruniy District Criminal Court, where the defendant was found guilty under several clauses of Article 97 (Deliberate Murder) of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
It is also worth noting that a similar tragic incident occurred earlier in the Fergana region, where a 72-year-old father fatally stabbed his 41-year-old son.
