The Tashkent City Road Traffic Safety Department has urged residents of the capital to exercise caution due to snowy weather conditions.
The department said that as snowfall continues in Tashkent, measures are being taken to ensure road safety and prevent possible incidents. Drivers are urged to strictly observe traffic rules, maintain a safe distance, avoid exceeding speed limits, and move carefully while respecting pedestrians on the roads.
“At the same time, we ask drivers not to leave vehicles under multi-storey buildings and structures, as well as under trees, and to use designated parking areas to store their vehicles,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that Uzhydromet earlier warned that moist and cold air masses would move into Uzbekistan between January 22 and 24.
