Today, February 25, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who is on an official visit to Tashkent, visited the "New Uzbekistan" park alongside Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov. During the visit, he laid flowers at the Independence Monument. This was reported by the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Bekzod Hidoyatov.

“The guest was provided with detailed information about the architectural design of the complex, its symbolic significance, and unique features. The complex left a deep impression on the Pakistani delegation,” said Hidoyatov.

It is worth noting that visiting this magnificent complex has become a tradition for dignitaries arriving in Uzbekistan. The park was built at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and has since become a key landmark for official visits.

Notably, in November 2023, the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, and his daughter, Laura Mattarella, visited the complex. In February 2024, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko also toured the site, followed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in May 2024.
