Governor of Pastdargom District also replaced

On February 3, Jamshid Pardayev was appointed governor of Pastdargom District in Samarkand Region. The former mayor, Sherzod Rahmonov, was relieved of his duties at his own request. This was reported by the regional administration.

It was noted that an extraordinary session of the Pastdargom District Council of People’s Deputies was held in this regard. During the session, Samarkand Region Governor Adiz Boboev addressed participants, speaking about the district’s potential, economic capacity, achievements in various sectors of the economy in recent years, as well as issues that remain unresolved.

An organizational matter was considered at the session. Sherzod Rahmonov was officially dismissed from the post of district governor based on his resignation. Jamshid Arziyevich Pardayev, who had been serving as First Deputy Governor of Pastdargom District for Financial and Economic Affairs and Poverty Reduction, as well as Head of the Economics and Finance Department, was approved as the new governor.

Key tasks aimed at the district’s socio-economic development were also outlined during the session.

Earlier, Temur Mahmudov Asomiddinovich had been appointed governor of Oqdaryo District at an extraordinary session of the Oqdaryo District Council of People’s Deputies.
