Credit in the amount of 400 billion soms will be allocated for poultry – says president

Poultry farms will be allocated a revolving loan of 400 billion soms for the purchase of wheat. This was stated by the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a video meeting on measures to ensure the uninterrupted supply of food, including livestock and poultry.

It is noted that Shavkat Mirziyoyev set the task to completely solve the problem of feeding the poultry farm.

To this end:

- 400 billion soms of revolving credits will be allocated to poultry farms for the purchase of wheat;

- a system of guaranteeing 50% of the collateral from the Entrepreneurship Fund and compensation of more than 17% will be introduced for commercial loans which are allocated to increase the working capital of poultry enterprises.;

- the term of the loans which were obtained by the poultry enterprises during the pandemic, worth 834 billion soms, also credits issued in 2022 - 400 billion som will be expanded.

The pr\esident also said that using these conditions, officials together with regional governors should increase the production of poultry meat by at least 35%- to 600 thousand tons by the end of the year.

In addition, in order to analyze the poultry market and issue the projects correctly, all processes from production to sales have been instructed to be digitalized.
