Paris 2024: Judokas from Uzbekistan advance to quarterfinals

Today, August 3, the team events in the ongoing Olympic judo competitions in Paris commenced.
In the Round of 16, the Uzbek judokas faced their Canadian counterparts and achieved a decisive 4-0 victory. Uzbek judokas Shukurjon Aminova, Murodjon Yoldoshev, Gulnoza Matniyozova, and Davlat Bobonov each won their matches, securing their places in the quarterfinals.
In the upcoming round, the Uzbek team will compete against the Italian judokas. The quarterfinal match between Uzbekistan and Italy is scheduled to begin at approximately 16:00 Tashkent time.
