The delegation of Uzbekistan has won 9 gold medals at the Summer Paralympic Games, surpassing its previous best in terms of medal quality.
Although the 17th Summer Paralympic Games in Paris have not yet concluded, the Uzbekistan delegation has already set a new record in its history with 9 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
Previously, the best result for Uzbek para-athletes was recorded in Tokyo, where the delegation secured a total of 19 medals—8 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze—finishing 16th overall.
With two days remaining in the competition, Uzbek athletes continue to participate in para-athletics, para-judo, para-swimming, para-powerlifting, para-cycling, and para-canoeing events.
