“Pakhtakor” signs Colombian striker Bryan Riascos

Tashkent-based football club "Pakhtakor" has officially announced the signing of Colombian striker Bryan Riascos. The club's press service confirmed the transfer.  

The "Lions" have agreed to a 1-year contract with Riascos, who will wear the number 94 jersey, reflecting his birth year.  

"I am thrilled to join the strongest team in Uzbekistan. I chose number 94, my birth year, and I am committed to bringing joy to "Pakhtakor" fans with my goals," Riascos said in a statement.  

The 30-year-old forward brings a wealth of experience, having played for clubs across various leagues. His career includes stints at Flamengo, Bragantino, Trofense, Famalicão, Oliveirense, Nacional, Marítimo, Atlético Huila, Metalist, Grasshoppers, Khalij, Gaziantep, and Sindao.  

Most recently, Riascos competed in the Chinese Championship, where he played 16 matches and scored 6 goals in the 2023 season.  

This signing follows "Pakhtakor"'s earlier announcement of Brazilian forward Flamarion Giovino Filo joining their squad, signaling the club's efforts to strengthen their attacking lineup.
