Kayum Khushbakov appointed as mayor of Pakhtachi district

Kayum Norbekovich Khushbakov has been appointed as the mayor of Pakhtachi district in the Samarkand region. His candidacy was approved today, February 26, during an extraordinary session of the Pakhtachi district Council of People's Deputies. The decision was reported by the press service of the regional government.  

The session was attended by Adiz Boboev, the acting mayor of the Samarkand region, who highlighted ongoing efforts in the socio-economic development of the Pakhtachi district, as well as achievements and existing challenges.  

Following the discussions, Boboev proposed Kayum Khushbakov as the new mayor of the Pakhtachi district, and his nomination was unanimously approved by the deputies.  

Prior to this appointment, Khushbakov served as the head of the information and analytical group of the Samarkand regional government.  

The acting regional mayor assigned Khushbakov key tasks for the district’s socio-economic development and wished him success in his new role.  

It is worth noting that on the same day, February 26, Makhsud Erkinovich Buranov was appointed mayor of Nurabad district in the Samarkand region. Before his appointment, Buranov headed the Samarkand regional department of the joint-stock commercial bank "Agrobank."
