11326On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President signed a decree awarding a group of professionals in the fields of science, education, healthcare, literature, culture, art, and mass media.
According to the decree, singer Ozoda Nursaidova was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Alongside her, Alibek Kabdurakhmanov and Dilnoza Artikova also received this prestigious title.
Ozoda Nursaidova, who has also performed under the pseudonym "Ozoda Saidzoda," gained widespread recognition with her hit song "Ketma" in 2000. Subsequent songs like "Asrasin" and "Endi men ketaman" further solidified her fame. At the 2001 "Tarona" awards, she won the nomination for "Best Song of the Year." However, for 15 years, the singer had to step back from the public eye due to creative restrictions. Her song "Kok Jiguli," among many other hits, set a record for the number of views on YouTube.
It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that the famous pop singer Sevara Nazarkhan was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
